The Thrash-Metal-Commando DARKNESS is from Essen (Altenessen), next to the Bay Area the most creative nucleus of the Thrash wave in the 1980s. Founded in 1984, the formation with the demos "Evil Curse", "Titanic War" and "Spawn Of The Dark One". In the years 1987-1989 DARKNESS releases three albums. The first album "Death Squad" is considered to be a thrash-album. classic and has established the cult status of DARKNESS, which is still alive today and Thrash musicians all over the world. With the album "The Gasoline Solution" since 2016 is a real Successor of the two classics "Death Squad" and "Defenders Of Justice" on the market, which is hereby published again. DARKNESS announce themselves at the same time and loudly also with the new album "First Class Violence" (released on 12.10.).
