The direct continuation of the celebrated album "Zutiefst" goes one step further and is highly emotional, in love with details and above all extremely catchy and dangerous. Every song knows how to captivate with its own fantastic plot, and Mastermind Asp Spreng goes to work almost lustfully. Even if the album turns out to be lyrically demanding as always and offers the ASP fan many allusions and references, you can feel an energy on "Kosmonautilus" that seems to contradict the complexity and depth of the lyrics. The hit density could be increased once again. One gothic novel rock hammer follows the next, and a future live evergreen follows the next. Again, new genres are secretly transcending borders, the band reinvents itself, but creepingly, cautiously and without going boldly to work.
