Description
2013, A long time had passed until Bay Area thrashsters Testament came up with new material. Shortly after that though Chuck Billy and the boys embarked on an extensive world tour - the DARK ROOTS OF THRASH tour that led the band all over the globe. With their newest masterpiece ready the legendary veterans destroyed all stages near and far. Reason enough to tape these shows and compile them to what will now be released as the first live document in more than eight years. The best in heavy metal entertainment! Testament was one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980's. Originally formed as ´Legacy` in 1983 by founding members Eric Peterson (guitar), Derrick Ramirez (guitar) and Louie Clemente (drums), the line-up included vocalist Steve Souza and Greg Christian (bass). Ramirez was later replaced by wunderkind Alex Skolnick (lead guitar). Souza soon departed to join Exodus and suggested that the towering Chuck Billy take over as frontman. Steelbook version.
