William Michael Albert Broad was born in England in 1955 and adopted the stage name Billy Idol after a teacher's school report stated William is idle. By 1983 Idol's lip-curl, pop-punk music and charisma poured out of the TV screen and made him an instant worldwide superstar with hits like ,,White Wedding", ,,Eyes Without A Face" and of course ,,Rebel Yell".
