Wyvern Lords Of Winter

2011, The history of this band dates back to 1985! After having release two demos, the Italian band released its debut album, THE RED FLAME OF PAIN, in 1990. That record was a reasonable heavy speed metal album that still sounded very eighties. In October of last year, twenty years after the release of the debut album, the follow-up was a fact after all. LORDS OF WINTER contains songs from the SEASON OF POWER demo (1994) and THE OTHER ONE demo (1996), accompanied by a couple of songs that were also released on the 2002 compilation WYVERN COMPILATION 1989-1999, and a couple of previously unreleased tracks, all recorded between 1998 and 2002. In comparison to the debut, LORDS OF WINTER sounds a bit more progressive and at some points a bit experimental.
