Belgians White Heat came together in 1980 and released the albums 'White Heat' (1982), 'Krakatoa' (1983) and 'Runnin' For Life' (1985). White Heat disbanded at the end of 1986. Since then they have a legend status. "Krakatoa" is name of the volcano Krakatau (German) located in the strait of Sumatra and Java and emblematic of White Heat's powerful music. The second album of the Belgians still sounds unspent and like an often more powerful version of AC/DC. Hard rock of the early eighties with a sharp edge NWoBHM, with hard rock influences by Krokus, Whitesnake or Van Halen. Songs that are catchy and melodic, and at the same time captivate with their energy. White Heat play power rock without compromise and that's why it's still fun to listen to almost forty years later.
