We Are The Ocean Ark

2015, Four piece Essex rockers We Are The Ocean have grown a lot since their inception, from heavy post-hardcore through to their last album, the bold, rocking MAYBE TODAY, MAYBE TOMORROW which saw them go from small rooms to headline tours, festival stages and radio airplay. We Are The Ocean opted to record once again with Peter Miles who recorded their previous two albums. The Essex four piece decamped to their second home, Middle Farm Studios to deliver the most exciting We Are The Ocean album to date. What's most impressive about the twelve tracks that comprise ARK is that they constitute an entirely new beginning for the Essex four-piece while both paying lip-service to their roots and signaling a bright new future. This is the sound of a young band taking some gigantic risks and hearing them pay off, in some style.
