U.d.o. Rev-Raptor

2011, And so swiftly following on from April's EP, LEATHERHEAD, here is REV-RAPTOR, rounding out the nice double-header of classic German heavy/speed metal courtesy of U.D.O., the home of ex-Accept frontman Udo Dirkschneider. REV-RAPTOR is the impressive 13th studio album of Udo's solo band, which has predictably been through it's fair share of line-up changes since forming after his split from Accept in 1987 and with this amount of experience between them (or him?) it is not surprising the end result is a more than solid dose of good old heavy metal. Sound-wise, there already have been some modifications on the last album DOMINATOR, and on this new U.D.O. studio release, there are some more added, but that doesn't change the style of this German Heavy Metal legend considerably - the updated sound is a perfect match for the new tracks.
