Tommi "Tuple" Salmela is a Finnish heavy metal singer. Finland is known for its heavy metal bands, but there is also a strong melodic rock/AOR community. Bands that focus not only on heavy riffs, but also on strong melodies and larger than life keyboards. Tuple is a good example of this. He sang in bands like Tarot, Lazy Bonez and Raskasta Joulua. "Welcome To Hell" is the follow-up to the highly acclaimed "Wooden Box" album, which had a chart entry in the Finnish charts. This time the band takes a look at the dark corners of power, of relationships and takes the listener on a journey to late 19th century Colorado, Aspen, which was once a wild place where miners, gunslingers, Indians, card sharks and prostitutes made up an explosive mix of people. Tuple's influences include bands like Journey, Kansas, FM, Uriah Heep, Boston, Chicago, Strangeways, Black Sabbath, Dio and many others.
