Thunderbolt Dung Idols

2011, Like Swedish band Wolf and a growing legion of American bands (Icarus Witch, Pharaoh, Widow), Thunderbolt plays pure, glorious, adjective-free heavy metal. DUNG IDOLS is the third release from Norwegian metal warriors Thunderbolt. It's clear these guys worship at the feet of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. DUNG IDOLS is non-stop fist-pumping, hard-charging, head-banging heavy metal anthems. It's all blazing guitars, soaring vocals, and songs about metal, sex, being a rebel, metal, and metal (in that order). The musicianship is top notch, and the vocals are perfect for this kind of metal. It's a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it's also a lot of mindless fun to listen to.
