The Residents are an American avant-garde band from San Francisco founded in 1969. Their first appearance took place in 1971, and in 1972 they founded their own record label, Ralph Records. Trademarks of the band are their idiosyncratic compositions and the bizarre interpretation of cover versions.and the decades of anonymity of the members "Commercial Album" was released in 1980. This double CD edition contains the original album plus 23 previously unreleased songs, single B pages, rehearsals, compilation tracks and live recordings! Remastered from the original tapes. Great booklet with rare or previously unknown photo material.
