Following widespread acclaim for their 2024 studio album *Skinwalker* and the atmospheric companion EP *Celestial* (2026), the Australian-Finnish dark progressive gothic metal collective THE ETERNAL returns in 2026 with their eighth studio album--presenting what is arguably their most immersive and groundbreaking work to date: *Obscured Horizons*.
The new album refines THE ETERNAL's signature blend of doom-laden soundscapes, progressive sophistication, and haunting melodic resonance, while simultaneously exploring a broader, more expansive sonic spectrum that feels both intimate and monumental.
