Tarja What Lies Beneath

2010, WHAT LIES BENEATH contains the bombast (Andrew Lloyd Webber) and darker, modern Hard Rock we expect from Tarja. But this time, the Finn has added some considerable roughness to some of her songs. Epic and extreme long ,,Crimson Deep" features the classic Black Sabbath tempo and is the perfect means for the lady to strut her vocal stuff - Tarja really has a great musical or even classical soprano voice. The album is very multi-faceted for the genre, last but not least also due to guest appearances by Joe Satriani, Phil Labonte and Van Canto, among others.
