Preston based SWEET SIN were a product of the very vibrant North West music scene in the '80s
, a scene that saw the likes of Dare, Angels Or Kings, Strutz, Sam Thunder and Dirty Tryx all vying for attention and that elusive deal. Undeterred by lack of label interest, SWEET SIN decided to self-release their own album, in 1988: seven tracks of smouldering. Hard-Rock, that orshipped at the altar marked America, was what was on offer, with magazines like " Metal Forces" and" Kerrang likening them to Dokken, Ratt, Brighton Rock and Whitesnake!
They looked good, sounded even better and had the backing of the major players in the UK metal press. With the album having run its course, they decided during 1990 to enter the Studios once again and cut another great demo. But it wasn't to be and the band came to a natural end.
Coming complete with the 3 tracks off the 1990 demo and a slew of cuttings and photos (on the usual de-luxe 16 pages booklet), plus extensive liner-notes from the amazing Rob Evans and a careful remastering, it's time to get sinful and enjoy this Lmited Edition (500 copies) CD!
