2013, Formed in the spring of 2002 from Ashland Kentucky, this band of brothers with a thirst for musical sucess and a strong willingness to blaze the path, Split Nixon began it's journey. Countless rehearsals and studio sessions led to the self titled freshman album completed early in 2004. After it's release, Split Nixon would begin playing numerous regional shows throughout Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. The band quickly gathered a legion of fans in the area and also attracted the attention of many local radio stations. National tours with platinum selling acts such as Saliva and Theory of a Deadman followed. To date, Split Nixon has shared the stage with countless national acts such as the above mentioned, Shinedown, Soil, Hell Yeah, Black Stone Cherry, Seven Mary Three, Hale Storm, Bobaflex, Ra and many many others.
