2010, Everything on this album has improved: production, songs, artwork... Not that there was anything wrong with the predecessor LOVE AND OTHER DISASTERS, but WE RULE THE NIGHT is just so much better. ,,Break Of Day" for example is a hefty attack on your ears and might frighten some teenagers, but the Swedes have also written their own anthem with ,,Burn This City": if this melancholy, emotional song does not become a mega seller, then something's wrong with the music biz... The term ´modern melodious Death Metal` still applies - but Sonic Syndicate are much more than that.
