SONATA ARCTICA can look back on a historic career. They became known as Finnish power metal pioneers, tireless touring powerhouses and champions of sublime melodies. However, they are primarily known as the musicians who demonstrate the magic and magic that comes from heavy metal. Since their founding in 1995, they have embodied the outstanding skills and serenity of Nordic nature and have enchanted the world ever since ten records, EPs and countless tours.

"Clear Cold Beyond" is easily the most uncompromising SONATA ARCTICA album to date, a spectacular resurgence of lightning-fast power metal. "We've felt for some time now that after some softer albums we needed to go harder again," says Tony. Produced again by Mikko Karmila, the key figure of their early days, "Clear Cold Beyond" sounds massive, heavy and hungry and pays homage to the band's early works. The magic of that time is back - but is now performed by masters of their genre who have no less than 25 years of gaming experience.
