On November 18, 2022, metal supergroup SOEN will release a very special concert film called ATLANTIS. ATLANTIS is composed of thirteen of the most famous compositions from SOEN's band history, all reinterpreted with a live orchestral accompaniment. It is the perfect way for SOEN to celebrate their decade-long band anniversary. ATLANTIS was created within the mythical as well as magical walls of the Atlantis Grammofon Studio in Stockholm/Sweden, whose hallowed halls have welcomed a host of international artists, from Quincy Jones to Lenny Kravitz to Green Day. Originally opened in 1941 as a movie theater, the short-lived former cinema later became Metronome Studio (and saw the birth of ABBA) before being renamed Atlantis Grammofon in 1983.
Filmed and recorded on December 10, 2021, Martin Lopez (drums & percussion), Joel Ekelöf (vocals), Lars Enok Åhlund (guitar & piano), Cody Lee Ford (lead guitar) and Oleksii "Zlatoyar" Kobel (bass) collaborated here with an eight-piece orchestra to reinterpret and rediscover fresh energy and other elements in classic SOEN songs.
