2011, Hats off to Sepultura for their calm in spite of all these reunion rumors and speculations - almost two years after A-LEX they have finally finished their new album. KAIROS consolidates the good impression of their last output. Their new work features numerous great riffs, innovative influences of other genres and styles, and a well-balanced mix of Thrash and Hardcore in varied tempi. The crisp and crunchy songs were all written during jam sessions - and you'll notice that. Nevertheless, structure and composition haven't been neglected thanks to the band finally being a genuine entity with Derrick Green as a real band member - which makes Sepultura really exciting now.
