2011, Scar Symmetry are back on the scene with their sixth album, although a streak of bad luck had hit them three years ago: singer Christian Älvestam left the band shortly after the release of their fourth album HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE. A shock, but the boys reacted by hiring two (!) new vocalists, Roberth Karlsson (Edge of Sanity, Facebreaker), and Lars Palmqvist! So, THE UNSEEN EMPIRE is another work of a sextet, opening new horizons for the band. The transition from deep growls and the respective riffs to clean vocals is really unique. The more you listen to the album, the more you'll detect the progressive parts in the material - still, it's enormously rough. All songs are epitomes of classy, clever, versatile high-tech, top-notch Metal.
