RockRoad, hailing from the vibrant city of Bacolod in the Philippines, was born in 2010 from the collective dreams and aspirations of a group of "young" musicians who shared a passion for music that transcended genres. Their journey, which began as an inspired idea, has since evolved into a remarkable tale of musical prowess and unwavering dedication.
The genesis of RockRoad reads like a rock 'n' roll fairytale. The band's inception was nothing short of serendipitous, as they quite literally started in a "draft." This eclectic group of musicians, each with their unique tastes and influences, made the bold decision to unite their talents and form a band that would challenge conventions and elevate the local music scene.
With a blend of influences ranging from major '70s and '80s rock icons like Queen, Mr. Big, Journey, Toto, Skid Row, to mainstream metal legends like Metallica and Megadeth, RockRoad consistently stood out from the crowd.
Their undeniable skill and charisma translated into success, as RockRoad consistently brought home the coveted trophy from most of the contests they entered, establishing themselves as local champions in their own right.
In 2016, RockRoad took their first significant step into the music industry by officially publishing the song "Same Old Ways" on Spotify, introducing their unique sound to a wider audience. This was a pivotal moment that would mark the beginning of their journey toward a full-fledged debut album.
