Riot Horse This Is Who We Are

2014, This band is another great Classic Rock band. The Danish/Swedish guys are no newcomers, ex-Darkane singer Andreas Sydow and members from Bai Bang and Sons Of Tomorrow started back in 2006 as a project and they release now a monster of a Classic Rock album! The opener ,,Get Your Hands On" is full of Led Zeppelin feeling and the followng ,,Bring ´Em On" is a monster of a Rock song. Heavy, slow and powerful! Especially the vocals from Andreas are great! ,,Miss Mississippi" has some Black Crowes influences (but heavier and harder - the opening riff is a mighty Stoner Rock riff for example), but with more power as all other Black Crowes songs! ,,Going Undercover" is a fast and rocking forward Classic Rock smasher in best Led Zeppelin tradition. ,,Hold Me" is a good ballad and ,,Torn" is more Blues Rock before the mighty ,,You Took My Soul" (with a mighty Black Sabbath rip-off guitar) blow you away. They are full of power, have great songs, great musicians and an outstanding singer.
