Expect an overwhelmingly strong album that recaptures the spirit of masterpieces like SYMPHONY OF ENCHANTED LANDS and DAWN OF VICTORY, while not denying some fresh new elements. While maintaining the typical Rhapsody Of Fire sound, the band managed to evolve and grow stronger than ever before. Songs like ,,Rising From Tragic Flames", the title track and ,,Tears Of Pain" follow the tradition of typical Rhapsody Of Fire songs, while the stomping ,,Angel Of Light" and ,,Sad Mystic Moon" offer a more straight forward, classic Metal approach (while still keeping the trademarks of huge choirs and a perfect balance between sensitivity and heaviness). With ,,Custode Di Pace" again a ballad in their wonderful Italian native language found its way on the effort.
