Quantum Down The Mountainside

Quantum is a progressive rock band founded in 2016 by bassist and singer Anton Ericsson, drummer Olof Simander and guitarist Fredrik Reinholdsen. In their sound they mix prog rock, metal, late romantic classical music and jazz.
The new album 'Down the Mountainside' features eight sophisticated and intense compositions spanning 45 minutes of music that shimmers in acoustic soundscapes one minute, only to explode into ecstatic grooves the next.
All in all, with 'Down the Mountainside' Quantum have created a timeless progressive rock album that feels both fresh and innovative and will appeal to both old prog hands and listeners of the more modern school.
