2012, On their debut they proved themselves as a straight band playing rocking Metal with certain Saxon-influences, while the raw vocals reminded more on bands like Metallica or ex-Metal Church-frontman David Wayne. With AN AXE TO GRIND follows the second masterpiece of this quartet from Pennsylvania. The band improved a lot here and comes over with nine straight-rocking songs with a great recognition value. Classic Metal-riffing and nice twin-leads are combined with thrashy elements. Everything fits perfect to Power Theory. Some highlights on the record are ,,Pure Steel" with its mid-tempo groove, the great title track, the pounding ,,The Seer (In Dreams)" as well as the speedy ,,Edge Of Knives". A great, pounding production makes this album a classic.
