- After a successful start to their career, Baltimore band MONA LISA recorded the full-length album "The Art Of Seduction", and they self-released it only on cassette format, during 1991. The album featured songs that have a Melodic Rock-feel, but with a Metal sheen, recalling the style that bands like White Lion, Van Halen and Danger Danger was carrying around, in a time when acts like Metallica and Skid Row were all-rage (not to mention the Grunge-tsunami that was starting to swell)
- Tracks like 'Name Of Rock', 'Dirty Girl' and 'Angry Child' are pure candies for the Sleaze-Hair Metal lovers, a sound that bands like Skid Row were pushing forward in the early nineties. Unfortunately this has been the last effort from this amazing band, as they split up in 1992
- After this, drummer L. A. Roberts and guitarist Don DeOliveira put together a new band called TATTOO TAXI, and they released another great cassette-EP during 1993, featured as bonus here.
- Presented for the first time on CD in a carefully remastered version from the original master-tapes and enriched by the usual de-luxe booklet full of unseen pics, flyers and memorabilia, this Cd is a must-have item for all '80s Hard-Rock and Hair-Metal fans!
