Formed in Bergen, Norway in 2003, the band was discovered by renowned producer Sylvia Massy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, Johnny Cash and others) in 2006, declared her favorite band and invited directly to her recording studio in L.A. to record their debut album. Since then, Major Parkinson have produced two more albums and various singles, mostly under their own direction, and have won over numerous fans with their ingenious mix of Primus, Faith No More, Frank Zappa and Queens Of The Stone Age, for example. The 2014 album 'The Twilight Cinema',which is now being released as a CD reissue,marks the beginning.
