2016, Long Distance Calling is a five-piece Post-rock band from Münster, Germany. The band was formed in Münster, Germany in 2006. The latest release from this Post-rock band is a solid, consistent, and amazing work of art. It is half instrumental prog-metal; half tracks out of ten have vocals (Petter Carlsen). The songs are melodic and spacious, and several of them boast a sweeping and epic feel. The musicianship is superb, with the guitar playing and the drumming particularly standing out. This is a great road disc; highly recommended.
