Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures, and so LAMB OF GOD put on two of the most powerful livestreams of the year in the fall of 2020: On Friday, September 18, 2020, theGroove Giants from Virginia presented their new self-titled full-length album to their fans worldwide - directly from their own studio in Richmond, the creative home of the band around exceptional vocalist Randy Blythe. In their usual charismatic manner, with a captivating stage presence and at the same time in an unusually intimate setting, in which LAMBOF GOD can only rarely be experienced thanks to their remarkable career, the Americans succeeded on this night in banishing the demons of the current situation for a short time and bringing the gripping energy of their live concerts indie digital world. This concert has now been captured on record for all eternity: "Lamb Of God - Live In Richmond, VA" captures one of the most important metal bands of the 21st century with all their fighting spirit and in all their joy of playing. A live album that is much more than that: It is an important testimony to the immense willpower of LAMB OF GOD in the face of the most adverse circumstances that Blythe and Co. ever faced.
