'Nobody's Fool' featured Joe Bonamassa ('Won't Be Fooled Again'), guitarist Carmen Vandenberg (Bones UK) ('Figure It Out'), cellist Tina Guo ('Fade Away') and music legend Dave Stewart on a cover of the Eurythmics classic 'Missionary Man'. Discovered by Dave Stewart at the age of 16, Joanne stood out from the start with her incredible guitar playing and distinctive soul voice. 'Nobody's Fool' is her most personal album to date. Joanne's lyrics lay out love, loss and the desire to break free from the past in the form of catchy hooks and infectious guitar riffs. Her vocal style, compositional and playing skills take the listener on a journey into the wreckage of love and back into the light of hope and redemption. With 'Nobody's Fool' Joanne enters modern retro-pop uncharted territory, but one that always holds the emotion of her blues roots. Joanne wrote almost all the songs herself with the exception of 'Missionary Man' (Annie Lennox & Dave Stewart). She was joined by Josh Smith, Calvin Turner and Dylan Altman ('New Love'), James House )'Then There's You'), Sharon Corbitt ('Fade Away') and Joe Bonamassa, Leslie Satcher and Beth Nielsen-Chapman (Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt) on 'The Leaving Kind'.
