Jethro Tull Live In Sweden '69

Right from the start, critics were in disagreement as to which musical style Jethro Tull should be assigned to. Progressive Rock or also Classic Rock were the trademarks often tried. The first album was still very blues-oriented, but with the distinctive vocals and the flute of Ian Anderson, aspects of the later Tull style are already present. After Mick Abrahams, a guitarist very focused on the blues, left the band, the musical spectrum was expanded considerably. With his successor Martin Barre, Jethro Tull played this gig in Stockholm as support for Jimi Hendrix.
