2014, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal band Jaguar is responsible for one of the most exciting British Metal albums of all time called POWER GAMES! They are considered widely as one of the godfathers of Speed Metal and you can confirm this by listening to their early 80s singles, even before the term was invented. The band from Bristol is now back with their newest effort called METAL X. The result is some nice speedy Metal the old-school British way that shall not leave fans of the genre uninterested. Most of the songs are fast with galloping riffs and some striking bass/drums lines, while the vocals maintain a youth-gone-wild character. The solos are remarkable too with enough spite and a Rock'n'Roll spirit British Metal bands were always keen on, while the sound and production does justice to the band's aim. METAL X does not suffer from something in particular, making this CD a solid release for all lovers of old-school Metal.
