Boxset with 81 tracks and 6 CDs of the German power metal cult band! Featuring five full albums and an EP from the band's very productive early years on Noise Records, including several bonus tracks. CD1 contains their self-titled debut full-length studio album, originally released in 1997, and the only release to feature Blind Guardian drummer Thomen Stauch. CD2 contains the long EP 'Interlude', originally released in 1999, followed on CD3 by the second full album 'Unification', also from 1999. CD4 contains the band's third full length album 'Dark Assault', originally released in 2001, and the last release featuring Helloween/Gamma Ray guitarist Kai Hansen. CD5 contains the band's fourth album, 'Condition Red', originally released in 2002. CD6 contains the fifth and final long player on Noise Records. 'Battering Ram' was originally released in 2004.
Iron Savior's albums are based on an elaborate science fiction storyline that evolves with each release. This box set is complemented by eleven rare bonus tracks from various releases between 1997 and 2004, as well as extensive liner notes by respected German writer Lothar Hausfeld. Stylistically, this box is often compared to works such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, and includes no less than four Priest covers, as well as others by Black Sabbath, Nazareth, Helloween, Krokus and even Seal's 'Crazy'.
