2011, The Slam is a new hard rock band and was originally founded by Canadian raised lead singer and guitarist Serge Simic. The Slam combines inspired guitar riffs and solos, driving grooves and catchy melodies in the likes of Seventies hard rock giants such as Kiss, Black Sabbath, Boston, Rolling Stones, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. HIT IT! is the band's debut album and was mixed in Los Angeles by renowned producer Fabrizio Grossi (Steve Vai, Alice Cooper), who recognized and captured the essence of that positive, highly energetic rock'n'roll The Slam is unleashing.
