The roots of HUMAN FORTRESS go back to the year 1999 and meanwhile the Hanoverians can look back on an eventful band history. With the song "The Dragon's Lair" produced by Tommy Newton (VICTORY) they won the battle for the best unsigned song organized by Rock Hard Magazine in 2000, shortly after their debut "Lord Of Earth And Heaven's Heir" followed. What follows are much acclaimed live shows at the Wacken Open Air, four more albums and various line-up changes. In 2012 front tube Jioti Parcharidis finally has to give the microphone to Gus Monsanto for health reasons. The Brazilian has an equally convincing organ and together with the mix and mastering done by Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann (e.g. ORDEN OGAN) the fourth release "Raided Land" brings the epic rockers back on the radar of the fans and confirms that HUMAN FORTRESS have regained their old style. After the positive feedback the band decided to continue working on new songs for "Thieves Of The Night" and re-released their second album "Defenders Of The Crown" in the same year. Through the melodic hooks, the heroic hymns and powerful vocals, again and again adorned with royal medieval melodies, the sound remains varied and independent. After three years of creative work, the Epic Metal band is finally back on track and will release their sixth album "Reign Of Gold" in late autumn 2019, again with Tommy Newton at the controls.
