Hitten formed in 2011 in Murcia, a city in the southeast of Spain (near Alicante). In the same year their first demo called "Darkness Queen" was released. Two EPs and the full album "First Strike With The Devil" (2014) followed before Hitten signed a contract with High Roller Records for the vinyl release of their sophomore album "State Of Shock".
Featuring rousing numbers like "Don't Be Late," "Endless Race" and "Eternal Force," 2016's "State Of Shock" was a clear step up from the naïve debut. However, the time between "State Of Shock" and the next album "Twist Of Fate" (2018) then held a low blow for the Spaniards. In September 2017, singer Aitor completed his very last performance with the band. In the person of Alexx Panza, however, a replacement was immediately available.
""Triumph And Tragedy" maps the natural evolution of our sound," Panza explains. "While on "Twist Of Fate" we combined hard rock with heavy metal for the first time, with "Triumph And Tragedy" we go one step further and also integrate melodic elements of the late eighties/early nineties, which in the end results in a holistic hard'n'heavy style."
