Helstar Glory Of The Chaos

2010, America produced a huge number of heavy metal bands in the 1980s. Some made it big (see: Metallica), some came and went without a second look (dust off any of the Metal Massacre albums for examples) and some persevered, attaining cult status if not popular recognition. One of the great unsung heroes of the ´80s metal scene is Texas-based Helstar. With one foot in the classic metal style of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and the other in the developing thrash scene, Helstar made a name for themselves with their unique mix of speed, power, aggression and of course James Rivera's hypersonic vocal wail. GLORY OF CHAOS continues the tradition of the bands classics NOSFERATU, BURNING STAR and DISTANT THUNDER.
