2010, Helmet's seventh album, SEEING EYE DOG, arrives in time to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary as a recording entity. Only slightly less time has elapsed since Helmet emerged as the quintessential art-metallists with its second album, MEANTIME, sporting an angular, minimalist sound that found its way into both MTV rotation and heavy-rock fans' hearts. The band broke up for several years before reuniting in 2004, and SEEING EYE DOG is the third outing by Helmet Mk. II, with frontman Page Hamilton still at the helm.
