Hammerfall Infected, ltd.ed.

2011, Hammerfall, that's a synonym for pure Metal, although treated with some controversy in the scene here and there. They don't care anyway - the blokes from Gothenburg just do their thing and always surprise us with some unexpected ideas. A good example for that is their latest album INFECTED on which they collaborated with James Michael as producer. Michael is well known for his work with (among others) Mötley Crüe, Papa Roach, Scorpions, Meat Loaf, or Sixx:A.M. (he is also the singer of the last-mentioned). Style-wise, that's miles away from the traditional Hammerfall sound. Actually, it's the same music as always, just fresher, crispier, and rougher. They've never sounded that fresh and up to date so far, yet still keeping their trademarks.
