The 2CD set celebrates the 30th anniversary of Taking On The World, the band's 1989 debut album from Glasgow, Scotland.

R3LOADED contains singles from all seven GUN albums: Taking On The World (1989), Gallus (1992), Swagger (1994), 0141 632 6326 (1997), Break The Silence (2012), Frantic (2015) and Favourite Pleasures (2017). CD1 is a collection of 10 singles spanning 28 years from the first hit Better Days in 1989 to Favourite Pleasures in 2017. It contains important GUN tracks such as Steal Your Fire (1992) and Don't Say It's Over (1994). CD2 is a collection of oversongs, including Word Up (1986), for which the band won the prestigious MTV Europe Music Award for Best Cover. The band has recorded new versions of Every 1's A Winner by Hot Chocolate (1978), (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party) by The Beastie Boys (1986), Union City Blue by Blondie (1979), Rock The Casbah by The Clash (1982) and Word Up by Cameo (1986). GUN will tour to promote R3LOADED, and the album will drive the next period of musical creativity for the band.
