GRAND ILLUSION around Anders Rydholm (g) and Peter Sundell (v) were one of the best Swedish AOR and melodic rock groups until they disbanded a few years ago. Their sixth and final album "Prince Of Paupers" from 2011, which is highly valued in the scene, is now being released again in the new Pride & Joy Music Classixx series with a bonus song ("Not For Sale"). Very mature and strong songwriting meets exciting and varied arrangements as well as Sundell's impressive voice, which successfully showcases the almost without exception magnificent hooklines. "Better Believe It" or "Winds Of Change" are very good first impressions. (MS)
