2011, Grinspoon are Australia's foremost rock band and their Gold selling sixth album SIX TO MIDNIGHT is now getting a full European release. To make it special the lovely fellows are also giving us some bonus tracks. Grinspoon are a confusing band, clearly influenced by metal and grunge - using feedback and power drumming to create a chunky sound with a bit of bite, but then on tracks like ,,Tonight" they start crooning. The vocal performance can't be faulted, but it doesn't make sense more than anything. It's like listening to modern day Lostprophets with their nice haircuts covering a song by the baggy jeaned folks in Korn.
