Description
2015, It's the Mule's 20th Anniversary, and to celebrate that joyous milestone, they decided to show 4 different sides of the band. First of all, the Pink Floyd tribute DARK SIDE OF THE MULE, followed by SCO-MULE, a collaboration with jazz/fusion guitarist John Scofield. And these 2 are followed up with DUB SIDE OF THE MULE, their 2006 New Years Eve show with one of reggae's founding fathers, Toots Hibbert of Toots & the Maytals, and STONED SIDE OF THE MULE (VOL.1+2), a vinyl-only release of the Mule's 2009 Halloween show featuring a long and varied set of impassioned, expertly executed Rolling Stones covers as only the Mule can deliver. Fans of both artists and their respective genres will finally be able to get their hands and ears on a very special release: multiple configurations of Mule's fabled New Years 2006 performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The show featured three-plus hours of Mule standards and covers, including a 60-minute set of Toots & The Maytals originals and blues standards.
