2010, Emerson Lake & Palmer are a legendary prog-rock band known for their overblown soundscapes and financial excess. Formed in 1970 by Keyboardist Keith Emerson, lead singer and bassist Greg Lake, they were joined shortly after by drummer Carl Palmer, at the time many referred to them as the first supergroup in prog-rock.
