2015, The story of Dying Gorgeous Lies started back in 2009 when five guys from the Southern German town Kulmbach joined forces. Two years later, their debut album INSANITARIUM was released and was promoted with a huge amount of live shows both in clubs and on festival stages. The sound of Dying Gorgeous Lies is based on a strong technical musicianship and the unique vocals by Liz, who does not serve the female vocals known from bands like Nightwish or Arch Enemy. Liz represents a new kind of female-fronted metal! The quintet delivers a breathtaking and energetic performance on stage, which makes every head bang and leaves a strong impression on the audience. They continued playing live in 2014, where they supported Equilibrium and were the official support act at the German shows of Arch Enemy's WAR ETERNAL European tour.
