Description
2014, This album was always going to be different because it was Viv Campbell's first album where he was involved in the writing process. It was a step in the right direction. HYSTERIA captured the mood and the sound of the times perfectly. No one can doubt its legend status. ADRENALIZE seemed to over egg the pudding, never mind the impossible task of following one of the biggest selling albums of the decade! It was sounding stale, rock music was changing... They stripped away all the gloss that was so right for HYSTERIA and some of the dross from ADRENALIZE, added a pinch of grunge and came up with SLANG. Disc 1 features the original 11 track album, plus the Japanese edition bonus track ,,Move With Me Slowly", plus 4 additional songs including the 1999 B-side ,,Burn Out". Disc 2 features 14 bonus tracks including many early versions of the songs, some with Phil singing lead, Viv singing lead, and a recent re-visit of a Viv song that wasn't finished in time for the original release.
