2010, Most people describe Darkseed as a band that used to play death metal but evolved into gothic/dark metal. The evolving of the band can be slightly compared to Paradise Lost. Unfortunately with underground success came the price of several line up changes that resulted in Darkseed's year long hiatus. Darkseed's new work POISON AWAITS is truly their greatest. Their song structure is more straight-forward, but the melodies and vocals are better than ever.
