Dark Ride Blade Manor

DARK RIDE is a California-based, melodic punk-rock band. Created by singer/songwriter Emilio Menze. Compared with bands like AFI, Misfits and Alkaline Trio, DARK RIDE establishes their own unique west coast sound with high energy, emotive anthems with horror/fantasy themed content and shades of metal. Emilio Menze has been a staple in the American horror-punk scene for over 20 years as songwriter/guitarist for Stellar Corpses as well as performing in the live band of John Christ (Danzig), Michale Graves (Misfits), Argyle Goolsby (Blitzkid) and Mister Monster. After 14 years of touring the US, Europe and Mexico with Stellar Corpses, Emilio departed the band to pursue his first solo endeavor with the debut of DARK RIDE. A name inspired by the style of theme park attraction used in Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. In the Fall of 2020 DARK RIDE released their first single and music video ,,Anti-Hero" from their upcoming selftitled EP which immediately gained momentum for it's frenetic energy and infectious chorus. Shortly after, the entire EP was released to enthusiastic, rave reviews from new fans, magazines and websites. A second music video was released for now fan-favorite ,,Infernally Yours" filmed in an actual Halloween walkthrough attraction. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, DARK RIDE was not fully able to perform until Spring of 2022 when they had their live debut at the Nosferatu Festival in Austin TX. Since then, the band has performed all over the US including their first official ,,Halloween Heresy" headlining tour as well as performing at a well established horrorfilm convention, Horrorhound Weekend. Dark Ride has shared the stage with such bands as Blitzkid, 45 Grave, The Haxans, Calabrese and Zombeast. In 2024 Dark Ride was main support for Nekromantix on their entire North American tour
