After CRIME made us wait 27 years for their last album, "Master of Illusion," many thought it was just a flash in the pan. In 2025, just three years later, the band proves us wrong with their new album, "Cold Air"! CRIME was founded in the good old 90s and hails from the Swabian town of Geislingen an der Steige. They quickly released two CDs, selling a total of over 5,000 copies. The band even built a loyal fan base in Japan. The song "Get Out of This Jail" was on the Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg playlist for years and remains a staple at many metal parties to this day. Fast forward: After the respectable success of "Master of Illusion" and successfully shaking off the patina built up by the long hiatus, "Cold Air," with its 14 new songs, aims to put the band on the fast track and catapult them back into the spotlight. Whether hard or soft, CRIME still masters the art of creating captivating and catchy songs. Riffs and beats define the groove and make room for melodic hooks and gripping vocals. With passion and craftsmanship, the band continues to deliver distinctive rock and metal anthems as well as emotional songs that touch the heart. A true feast for all lovers of groove-oriented heavy rock. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Andy Kemmer, who also played bass on the album, "Cold Air" also shines with a fat sound that showcases the songs even more!
