"Conception" is a Norwegian power/progressive metal band that was active from 1989 to 1997. They reunited in 2018 and have been actively touring and releasing new music ever since.
Thanks to the integration of flamenco elements by guitarist Tore Østby and the operatic vocals of singer Roy Khan, the band has created a unique sound in their genre. Their debut album, The Last Sunset, was released in 1991 and is now being re-released. All tracks have been remastered and appear on CD with unreleased bonus tracks.
